Independence Day Celebrated at Mauli International (CBSE) School and Junior College, Umerga
Mauli International (CBSE) School and Junior College, Umerga, commemorated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event was graced by the presence of Chairperson and Principal Mrs. Mangal Shinde, Secretary Dr. Abhay Singh Shinde, Chief Guest Dr. Aniket Inamdar, Trustee Member Mrs. Anupriya Shinde, Vice Principal Mr. SriShail Mulge, Administrator Mr. Sanjeev Rathod, along with the entire teaching and non-teaching faculty and vibrant student body.
Ceremonial Tribute & Flag Hoisting The celebration began with a floral tribute to national leaders, led by the Chief Guest, Secretary, and Principal. This was followed by the flag hoisting ceremony, a proud moment that united everyone in honoring the nation.
Anchoring & Guest Address The program was anchored by Class 9 students under the guidance of Mrs. Mahua Roy, showcasing their confidence and leadership. Chief Guest Dr. Aniket Inamdar was felicitated by Secretary Dr. Abhay Singh Shinde and delivered an inspiring speech on the true essence of independence and the importance of maintaining good health for a free and fulfilling life.
Tribute to National Heroes Students from Classes 1 to 9 dressed as iconic national heroes and delivered powerful speeches, supervised by their class teachers. Their performances reflected deep respect and admiration for India’s freedom fighters.
Patriotic Performances Students from Classes 4 to 9 presented a series of patriotic song performances, filled with emotion and energy. These were beautifully choreographed under the guidance of Mrs. Namrata Hatte, Mrs. Bhagyashree Vaghmare, and Mrs. Mahua Roy.
Vote of Thanks The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Class 9 students. The celebration was a resounding success, made possible through the leadership of Principal Mrs. Mangal Shinde and the dedicated efforts of the entire school staff.

International Yoga Day Celebrated at Mauli International (CBSE) School and Junior College, Umerga
On June 21, 2025, Mauli International (CBSE) School and Junior College, Umerga, enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day. The event was attended by the school's Chairperson and Principal, Mrs. Mangal Shinde ma'am, Secretary Dr. Abhay Singh Shinde sir, Chief Guest Mr. Yuvaraj Garad, sir, Vice Principal Mr. SriShail Mulge sir, Administrator and Co-educator Mr. Sanjeev Rathod sir, and other faculty teachers and students.
The program was anchored by Mrs. Mahua Roy ma'am, The chief guest, Mr. Yuvaraj Garad, was honored by the school's secretary, Dr. Abhay Singh Shinde sir. Mr. Garad, a Yoga Instructor, demonstrated various asanas and pranayama, explaining their benefits for the body and the importance of yoga for students.
Under the supervision of Mrs. Bhagirathi Waghmare, the school organized competitions, including wall painting, essay writing, and quizzes, to highlight the significance of Yoga. Students participated enthusiastically. Anuj Vikram Suryawanshi, a class 5 student, was felicitated with a medal for his national-level achievement in stick fighting and dandpatta. The school also honored Mr. Sanjeev Rathod and Mr. Laxman Jadhav with certificates for their guidance in Olympiad English and science, respectively.
